Jamie, they're both well worth having as I remember, although I lost them years ago during a Shermanesque march through my bedroom by my mother when I was out of the house. When you look at the relics on the front cover photos, you wonder...who has those flags and guns today?
The songs range from the usual maudlin stuff of the era to fun stuff like "Goober Peas" (South) and "Whack, Row de Dow" (North). I also remember: "Virginia's Bloody Soil," "Just Before the Battle, Mother" and the best song of all--"Lorena"--I always thought would've been perfect for Willie Nelson. Meant to suggest it to him, but never got around to it.
