I just ate dinner at an original 1850s house located in the main plaza of Mesilla, New Mexico, capital of the Confederate Territory of Arizona. Just outside of Las Cruces, New Mexico, if you never been here, the town is full of original period buildings from the mid-1850s. It is a tourist town full of antique shops, resturants, art gallerys, etc. The building the Confederate government ran out of still stands. Interesting and very neat.
