Keith, my grandfather used to keep bees. When he robbed them he had a screen face mask on but no other protection. He wore a long sleeve shirt but he always wore a long sleeve shirt, rolled to the wrist, no gloves, no other protection. He said the bee stings on his hands keep away arthritis. Guess they made 'em tough in the hills of Kentucky. Most of my kids and grand-kids probably go to Urgent Care if they get a bee sting now.
