Re: Grave hunting just got more tricky

Jamie, if you feel brave one evening - go out to where the swarm is (they should be sleeping at night - in one big pulsating mass, which is interesting to see), find the queen bee and transport her to an empty bee hive about 50 to 75 yards away. In the morning, when the bees awake, they will make a "beeline" over to the queen's hive, where they will congregate (except for any retarded bees). The next evening when they go to sleep, you may then transport those pesky rascals to some distant place away from your cemetery.

This is the way it works with domestic bees. Before you try it with Africanized Honey Bees, you might want to check with your local Bee Specialist.

By the way, Google "Bee specialist" and you will find quite a few hits for people whose job it is to remove honey bees of all types.
