Oh Chase,

That really doesn't matter to me. I've been running these sites for almost ten years and this is nothing new. Do you ever watch those Bill O'Reilly shows when he opens letters and one accuses him of being a ultra-Liberal and the next one an ultra-Conservative? Two people see the same broadcast or interview and draw exactly opposite conclusions. My greatest sin on this site is that I try to honor both sides, as equally as I can. Part of it is my own mixed ancestry. I hope another part of it is a little maturity. We've just got people that take real extreme positions that are generally NOT historians. I think they are just really, really angry and the outlet for that anger is insulting people's ancestry, promoting conspiracy theories or saying the most horrible things they can about respected Union and Confederate leaders. Some of you will remember that we had a Union leaning gentleman who went so far as to insult people's religious beliefs. I blocked him and he must've posted two hundred messages that were strange rambling nonsensical things meant for my eyes only. I just hope this gentleman thinks about the content of his postings and perhaps has a change of heart and moderates his views, which from my perspective are extreme.

Now maybe you, Frank, Martin and Mike will realize there are a bunch of people on this board that think I'm a "damn Yankee"!
