A most worthy effort Br'er Boz. The CWPT has made major strides in acquiring land both on and adjacent to WBTS battlefields all across the country. I have personally seen results from their work at Malvern Hill and most recently in the Suffolk, Virginia area. Don't allow asphalt, concrete and some ugly subdivision to cover your ancestor's blood and toil. Tell your legislators how you feel and if you can, help support the Civil War Preservation Trust. I've seen most of Cold Harbor and Gaines Mill paved and built over. Dirt is precious. One hundred years from now people will say while looking over abandoned housing, "I can't believe they didn't preserve this area". Save our battlefields NOW.
