Not quite what I was hoping for!

In reference to the new thread, regarding statements from the main stream media that Confederates, White Southerners, etc. were or are traitors, Fascists, Nazis or other extremely derogatory terms, I was hoping for a little different content.

I will not delete these postings and you may go the direction, we appear to be, but I hoped we might reference news organizations or the main stream media versus editorials and quotations from interviewees. Also, I don't believe that an anti-Confederate monument, highway, lake, river position is "hate speech" toward Southerners. I'm surprised to see anything named after Jefferson Davis in the state of Oregon and understand the objection to same.

I am also not surprised to see the NAACP take an anti-Confederate position for the naming of schools or federal buildings, etc. How about we clearly source items within the last 10-20 years from reporters or new organizations or other institutions where statements of this nature are put forth as "common knowledge" or belief.

Also, don't just post URL's, but take the time to post the offending statements, in your opinion along with the citation or link.
