I wasn't aware that any Federal money was spent on CSA graves at any cemetery. If that is true at Camp Butler then it must be something in the Federal regs that allow this (ownership or grants). I have been told this is not the case at Camp Chase and Elmira. I know for a fact they give nothing to the upkeep at Vicksburg and Beauvoir is kept up by volunteers.
