A prodigal son

Did y'all miss me LOL?!!!

Ok folks, here goes...

I have been offline with a dead PC for a while. I have to confess though that I simply needed a break from spending so much time on the internet. I felt it had gotten to the point it was both unhealthy and was robbing me of time to do other things. Combine all that with the fact that I have been busy with commitments here at home and I hope each of you can see why I kind of fell off the map.

I have sure missed everybody. I haven't missed some of the petty arguments but I am probably guilty of starting everyone of them or at least of "throwing gas on the fire". I also had to replace my cell phone and lost everybodies numbers. If you wish me to be able to call you just send me an email with your number or better yet, give me a call.

I have been doing really well these last 4-5 months. Back in the spring I was hospitalized with what I thought may have been another heart attack. Fortunately I had only had a reaction to some new (powerful) cardiac drugs combined with a diabetic episode. Yep, I joined the finger poking club. It has been a blessing though because it has scared me enough to make me do some things I should have been doing anyway, like excercising (sic?). I now walk 3 and 1/2 miles every day and work out for several minutes on a cardio-glider. I feel better than I have in years and can even slip my old uniform pants on again ;-)

I know this is off topic and Jim may very well delete it but I just want to say howdy to everybody before I jump back in. Jim, if you still need some moderators I will gladly do what I can. If so just give a call or email sometime and let me know if the procedures are the same. If you want to boot me in the rear for going AWOL I have to admit I deserve it.

Kindest regards to all,
Jamie R.
