About half way through the video I had a little trouble seeing through my tears. Back in 1964, while attending the University of Southern California, some Hollywood types used us Navy students to film a Christmas Salute to sailors at sea. We shot it in Long Beach. David Huddleston. who was primarily known for bad guy roles in movies, was the em cee. He's actually a very nice man. According to the credits, he was Air Force, but he made a very good old salt. Whenever I see an older vet, or a young one for that matter, as the older ones get scarce as I near 71, I try to say thanks to them for their service. We may not get another chance. Stan
