Having only been in San Antonio for about 3 years, but having checked with several old timers here, I hear no hurricane has ever reached SA in the last 50 years or so,except for the outer bands of those that hit around Corpus; then we get a bunch of rain which is usually welcome, if it doesn't last too long.
