Frank the south was not exporting slaves. Do you recall the post I made that showed the South paying higher taxes than the North? That was the whole import/export problem. I agree the North would not have went bankrupt without the South,Licoln could and did make new taxes. Tax money or not he went to war to force the South back into the Union.
