I know this may be off topic, but I hoped someone might be able to identify either the man or woman in the two tintypes found at the link below. They seem very familar to me, and to most people that I have shown them to, but so far no one has been able to Id either. They might well remain unknown, but dog-gone it, the man especially looks SO familar!

The metal seems to be a bit thinner than most tintypes I have seen. They are full plate size.

Could someone point me to a source where I might ask about these and be more on-topic to that forum?
