I only know that they came from the same estate sale, and that they were in frames together. I bought them from a dealer in NC, but I think they came from Tenn.

In response to Frank's suggestion, the man does kind of look like a portrait. Like the tintype was taken of a painting. I say that because of the way the hair looks, but it could be age that has affected the appearance.

It's just that they look so dog-gone familar!
