Thank you for that. I have found it strange that we don't read about any thing like that happening during that time period, but it must have. I was just thinking how terrible it would have been for troops on both sides to get cuaght in that kind of weather out in the open with nor more shelter that their rubberized blanket for protection or in the case of the boys from the south with less protection than that. And the poor animals would have gone crazy. I think I am going to try to find some references to storms along the east coast at that time. ONce again, thank you.
