"If you want to disprove this point, offer me ONE instance where the CSA offered peace in exchange for the end of slavery."

I'm confused. What exactly is the question? Is "CSA" a typo? Should that read "USA?" What is the point we are trying to disprove? If there's no typo involved, was the CSA making war on anyone? As the invaded country, was it really in the power of the CSA to offer peace?
