Occurring so long after the war, little definitive material of military value is found. Much of the questions relate to civil life, living conditions per war, education, etc.

Going back to my original query, I realized too late that this project most likely got off the ground as Nashville, very early in the war fell to the Yankees which ended the Confederate state administration.
