Re: My Good Friends
In Response To: My Good Friends ()

Cump, please pass our condolences on to Frank, Jr., from south of the Mason Dixon Line. I always enjoyed reading Frank's posts, and the discussions he got into with some members. He had the knack of being able to disagree without being disagreeable. He was a gentleman. Having lst my father in law december 23, I know a little of what his son must be feeling. My FIL was like a real father to me. He was an LST sailor who fought at Okinawa, as trigger man on a 40mm AA gun, keeping Kamikazez away from his ship. He was a man, as I am sure was Frank. He will be missed. Cump, you and Jim please let us know how we can honor Frank. Stan
