Except that our present ecominic troubles was caused by an Attack on our economic system on Oct 15th 2008 ,or there about, by the sudden withdrawal of 5.5 BILLION dollars from United States money market funds in ONE HOUR, that started a run on our banking system. The Government will not tell you who caused this attack. But, I believe, it had the same purpose of destroying our economy as the 9-11 attack. I personally believe that this attack was internal, but it could have been external, from the middle east. Our Government has to know who started this run, but for political reasons will not divulge that name. And but the way this has been announced by the US banking institute regulators, so it is semi-public knowledge.

Anyway, that is all really unimportant. However, an attack is an unnatural force, which can and often does cause casualities and sets about natural actions and reactions.

When you prick a worm with a pin does it not react away from the pin prick? Is that moving away from the pin prick, by the worm, a natural force of the pressure of the pin, or a reaction to a stimulas?

Was the Occupation of Fort Sumter by Robert Anderson, a "Natural Force" of natural defensive nature and self preservation, or an intentional "Pin Prick" to set into motion a desired reaction. Yes there were force building prior to Fort Sumter which were setting the stage for War. But would War have happened without the necessary stimulas? If Lincoln had allowed the South Carolina to Seceed by itself, and not provoked 6 others with the occupation of Fort Sumter and the "Star of the WEST", and then later 4 more states to seceed by calling for 75,000 troops to invade the south. Would there have been a war because of those "Natural Forces".

The American Civil War was probably the most "Natural" war this nation has ever fought. It was fore ordained from the very beginning of this nation with the signing of the Articles of Confederation even before the Constitution. It was fore ordained because of the natural desire of man to have dominence over others. That is what the Jefferson/Hamilton debates were all about. How much power and what was the proper role of the Government was to be and have over the lives of people.
