Make sure you ask for Lee White at the park headquarters. Lee is a valued contributor to our discussions here on the message boards and seems to be a very approachable and knowledgeable historian.

I need to get back to Chickamauga. Whenever I visit, I spend far too much time on the middle and southern parts of the battlefield (Longstreet's Wing). I need to spend more time in Brock and Dyer field and the Reed and Alexander bridge areas. I had an ancestor in the 5th Georgia Infantry, Jackson's Brigade.
