You may certainly reference religion as a cause or contributing factor to the Civil War. You may draw distinctions between the regional interpretation of Bible scriptures, as it relates to THEIR views of slavery. You may post verses of biblical scripture as a quote of a civil war era historical figure or to identify a scripture used to support a position. You may not, "post" or proselytize about YOUR beliefs or attempt to influence the belief of others on this forum. Bible verses quoted without context or representing your personal understanding or beliefs are inappropriate to this forum. If you want to discuss your religious beliefs there are hundreds, if not thousands of locations on the internet to do so.
