I have found the following diagnosis: vuln sclo for the reason for Confederate Soldier's hospital admission. In one instance it was vuln sclo of the arm and in another instance it was vuln sclo of the leg.

There is a possibility that I have misspelled the term since the cursory handwriting on both of the documents leave lots to be desired.

A Google search send me to some "Google Books" but I am unable to find the actual reference to "vuln sclo. Perhaps this is a term that is no longer used in the medical profession.

Any assistance will be welcomed.
