Dennis..your response is calm, well written, and includes suggestions as to how the individual can educate themselves as to the several causes of the Civil War and that slavery was not the primary issue that triggered the war.

Once more our Confederate ancestors in spirit rise up, and if are in uniform, stand at attention, salute and offer three cheers. If not in uniform, they rise up, stand erect, remove their hats, turn to their
family and ask them to be silent in respect for your defense of the Confederate political views.

They, along with myself, feel that so long as Pam (Ladies first), George, and yourself are alert to those whose who write or speak publicly concerning Confederate heritage that they must present correct facts or standby for a challenge.

If only I could write so well and not be chastised for my tendency to call a spade a spade and be responsible for insulting the person to whom I address my complaint.
