Re: Arlington National Cemetery
Stating the obvious, a difference of opinion on this issue existed. The words on this memorial explain why Confederate dead at Arlington have been placed apart from all the others. Although Robert E. Lee never owned Arlington, association of his name with this U.S. military cemetery, which places former Confederates in a remote corner, is ironic.
