That Female Soldier.
The female soldier of whom we made brief mention a day or two since, was sent to the Parish Prison to await an examination before the provost marshals. She gave her name as Mrs. M. M. Arnold, but she has flourished under several alises, such as Gibbons and Lieut. Buford. Change or circumstances [New Orleans was about to fall to the Union fleet] will probably prevent us from learning more of her history than we have already given. She is certainly a very extraordinary woman, and her history must have been an eventful one.
