I think the elected officials in Selma are afraid to speak out, even if they cared !! Where are the white people in that town? Why aren't they gathered in the streets like the blacks would do if it was something to do with one of their Heros ! I have a cousin living in Selma, I informed him about this and asked him if he knew anything about it...no answer ! Are we lacking in our Southern pride? I'm from a small town in Texas. On the town square there is a statue of several Confederate Generals...no one has attempted to bother it in the many years that it has been there. I can imagine what would happen if it came up missing. I hope and pray General Forest is found safe and sound.
