Glad y'all are ok and Virgil is too. I have tried to contact George but haven't gotten anything yet. He was ok as far as I know this past Monday. After that, I don't know. I hope it's because he's without power and that's all but he was mighty close to that 'line' that Katrina's flooding stopped at. This one's different. I'm trying to get info on a former classmate and his family in Slidell too. We were so lucky this time and hate to see what's happening. It's a very hopeless and helpless feeling when that water starts seeping in your door not to mention the wind damage.

One 'good' (that sounds so wrong) thing that came from this storm is the shipwreck on Ft Morgan Rd that has been uncovered over the years by these storms is now totaly naked. The whole thing's open and it's awesome. We talked about it on here a while back but now it's going to be given a lot more work and research by the 'pro's'.
