James McGee and William J. Mcgee are both listed as being buried in this grave according to the US Records and dying on the same day. According to the Jones County Mississippi census records of 1850 James and W. J. Mcgee were brothers. James and William J. Mcgee both have separate military records. The burial records would tend to suggest William J. and James are the same person but not the military records.
