Creole Guards, 9th Brigade Alabama Militia
February 12, 1862 (served 90 days)

Captain - F. J. Barnard
1st Lt- Ovide Gregory
2nd Lt.- J. B. Guicon
Mobile Advertiser and Register, February 14, 1862

These were separate organizations and both served for a limited period of time. The 1862 unit did some duty as Confederate militia.

I don't know what sort of organization they had in 1863-64 - if they were organized.

The 1865 Native Guards company probably had many of the same men that had served in previous years.
