Re: Hank Williams Jr. and the Civil War

He was always looking for a P53 Enfield by a specific maker (I think it was Potts & Hunt), because he had been told that his ancestor carried an Enfield by that maker. I knew one dealer that had a P53 by Potts & Hunt that had been bought by Hank Jr., then returned, because it was in too good a shape to have been used in the field. It was a pretty gun, for sure!
