Most likely not. However, there is at least one more Company A muster rolls found in the records in which he is not recorded, having most likely been dropped from the rolls on the Jul/Aug,, 1864 roll.

However, it is not far fetched to believe he laster returned and would have been recorded on one of the later bi-monthly muster rolls. Happened quite often.

If he did later apply for a pension, it would be from the state in which he was living at the time.
