I too lost a grandfather and countless cousins, and uncles. One grandfather lost his wife and 5 year old son during the war. Of course they more than likely do show up in the stats. You are right about repeating a lie. I fight them everyday. Don't know if I am getting through or not, but at least I show up.

Slavery had nothing to do with the war. I have researched this issue for some years and haven't found anyone anywhere in that time period that says slavery was the cause.

It is just a lie.
