I too was enthused about the movie "GLORY" and did some research on the Site of the actual Battery. I found out that the actual battery site is 210ft.into the waterline due to eroding by the sea but I'm still going to go there! JUST OUTTA RESPECT! Those men are what freedoms stands. I'm from Mississippi and I REALLY SUGGEST VICKSBURG !!! A battery there was never taken as well but if you go you'll see and understand why!!!
