Col Shaw is my Gr Gr uncle. My father was named after him. Col Shaw was married to Martha Lanier, sister of my Gr Grandmother Sara America Lanier who married J P DeLaughter also a CSA soldier with 5th Fl Infantry. I have been to Sweetwater Cemetery where Col Shaw is buried and also have 2 photos of him.
