The Confederates did call their army about Manassas Junction in the fall of 1861 and the winter of 1861 and 1862 the Army of the Potomac, but that name fell into disuse after Johnston withdrew to Fredericksburg. Any photograph of 1864 which uses the term "Army of the Potomac" to depict people would be of Federal troops, unless they were prisoners.
