My ancestor, Pvt. Nathaniel Hill, Co E 5th Regt SC Infantry, was killed May 5,1862 near Williamsburg, Va. He was born in York County sometime between 1825-1827, the son of Nathaniel Hill, Sr. and Sally Odum of Darlington. I would like any information on him, where he might be buried and where I can find a Regimental History of the 5th. Many thanks!
