I am trying to get information about my gg-grandfather, Daniel Munn Woodrow. He served with the Confederacy and probably signed up in Marion County. I have him on the 1860 census with his wife and baby daughter in that county. I have tracked him down to the South Carolina Tenth, Co. I. My dad told stories years ago to my brother of his ggrandfather being with the Swamp Fox. I thought he was making it up. There was a tv series on in the late 50's or 60's of that name and I thought Dad was trying to impress us. Wow, what if it is true? I have been told Daniel died in Georgia. I'd like to know if he was killed in battle or if he died due to an illness. Any information or help is greatly appreciated.
