I have been told, by Barry , that my great gr. Grandfather John Jefferson Traywick and his brother William (Bill )Traywick of the 2nd battalion Georgia sharpshooters ,58th Alabama Inf.were tried for desertion. Where would I find documentation of this ? I know Bill was later Killed at Chichamauga. Johns wife received a pension. Thanks , Jeff
