Were the Irish at CHarleston on Fort Sumter called the Irish artillery of Charleston? or were they a part of another battery with a different designation? I think the 1st charleston infantry had an Irish company also. Are there any other Irish companies from SC besides these Fort Sumter companies, Co. C 27th, and Co. K 1st Inf. Greggs?
