10th SC Letters Published

Just an FYI since this was a topic a while back, but Great Things Are Expected of Us: The Letters of Colonel C. Irvine Walker, 10th South Carolina Infantry, C.S.A. has been published. I edited these letters, so I welcome comments from those of you who read them. Walker initially joined the 10th before being placed on General Manigault's Staff, he would serve there until his promotion to Lieutenant Colonel in the 10th and join it just before the Battle of Atlanta, where with the wounding of Colonel Pressley, he would find himself in command of the regiment. The letters were published by the University of Tennessee Press as part of their Voices of the Civil War series.
