Thank you for your reply. I had seen this information plus similar write-ups, but was hoping for a more detailed account of the seige, such as unit use/positions at the Company/Brigade level. My wife's g-grandfather was assigned to and joined up with Co G, 20th OH INF in January 1865 at Pocatalico SC and apparently participated in the entire Carolina campaign. She had another g-grandfather with the 4th OH Cav that was at Atlanta GA. On my side, the man that raised my mother spent 2 years in Yankee prisons after being captured at the end of Morgan's raid.
