Late War in the Carolinas is an interesting period and one that is quite challenging at times as you try and connect the dots. The sad thing is I was just at the library in Columbia, unfortunately time did not allow me to get to the 2nd Cav. Well, excuse for another trip.

I am not aware of a recent published regimental history on the 2nd, if you come across it please share.
