Served with his cousin Wade Hampton Richardson in Gregg's Battery, Manigault's Battalion Artillery. Another James Richardson from Marion County may also be a cousin. Inlisted at Marion Courthouse. Family lore has him killed at James Island. Battle and date of death unknown. Probable son of William Richardson. Married to Treacy (Unknown maiden name). Father of 5 children including Lucy and Howell. Treacy remarried and relocated after 1870. Any info on date of death, burial ect., appreciated. Jan
