Amon Bell himself was not a Vet, but two of his three sons were. Shadrock J. Bell, 18th Al. Inf. Co.G, Jesse T. Bell, 10th Al. Inf. Co.B. There was a Brother Named William Bell, but I have not been able to verify any Military service. I found a dozen or more William Bells from Alabama
but cannot determine if any one of the are related to me.

Now, there was a brother in law to Jesse and Shadrock, John Barnett Parsons, he also enlisted in 18th Al Inf., Co, G.

Just out of interest, The William Bell that I am related to, married Nancy C Allinder. Her Brother John W. Allinder, and sister, Francis B. Allinder migrated to Texas.

When the War Started, John W. Allinder enlisted in the Texas 19th Cav, Co.H (Burford's). Haven't found too much on this Unit, Yet.

Anything further you can add, large or small, please do. Thanks
