Hi, the reason that I am posting this here is because i know forrest is from ten. orginally or from i have heard.Ok to the point. I am starting my Civil war project for 8th grade and am doing a distant cousin of mine in the civil war. his records show this " Surrenders to a Gen. Forrest taken to rome (parole) sent by coal car to Atlanta on the Richmond via Knoxville Ten. lynchville arriving ) i have looked at many places and can not find what this camp is called my grandma states that it is Rome , Georgia if you know any thing on this please feel free to email me or jus put a post up on it my email is pappy535@netscape.net
