"Hancock's Diary" IS NOT about Ashby's Second Tennessee Cavalry. This book is about the 22nd (Barteau's) Tennessee Cavalry Regiment. This regiment was misdesignated the 2nd Regiment. Barteau gives some information in the confusion over the misdesignation in "Tennesseans in the Civil War, Volume I", page 102.
