I am seeking any information on Captain Burton Leuty's 5th Company out of Rhea County Tn. My Great Grandfather Milton G. McDonald was the third lieutenant in this Company and later promoted to Second Lieutenant. G.B Keys later became the Captain when Leuty resigned due to poor health. I have also found that they were either in Company F of Lt. Col James E. Carters 1st Calvalry and/or the 3rd battalion of Calvalry in East Tn. Under the same. I believe that they wer mustered into service at Knoxville. I am having ton's of troubles finding any info on this Company and my Grandfather, any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
