Thanks for the response. When and where can I obtain a revised copy of Col. Vaughan's memoirs on the history of the 13th TN INF that includes your added material and info? Would love to read and see some pics. My G-Grand was Lt. William J Rodgers, 13th TN INF Co E. He was captured on 10/5/1863 at Lockharat, Miss and transported to Johnsons Island POW Depot in Lake Erie near Sandusky, OH for the remainder. I have his diary and all letters to and from home. Very interesting. His diary is published for the State Archives and can be found by searching William Rodgers Memorandums on Yahoo. Have a good day.
