Howdy, Kenneth !

This sounds very interesting.

Do you know where in Sweden they originated from ?

I did find this about the Stalkops,Kenneth:

"#1499. (18 November 2002) I am looking for anything concerning and Vandeveer's in Sweden between 1714-1720. In specific, Johan Cornelisson Vandeveer and his wife Maria Stalkop accompanied brother-in-law Erickus Bjork and his wife Christina Stalkop when he returned to Sweden around 1714. Johan died there sometime before 1720 when Maria remarried to Hans Jurgen Smidt and returned to Delaware. I was able to locate the baptismal record of their daughter Catharina Vandeveer in Falun, Sweden Church Records: Kyrkobocker, 1642-1894; Fodde 1694-1747 C:1-5 (LDS - 221122) on 6 Nov 1715. I would like to know if there are any other records available for Maria and Johan - other children, a death record for Johan, etc. Thanks, Jerry D. Vandiver"

The name "Stalkop" are a very unusual lastname, so I am sure everyone with the name are in family.
