You might want to check at Elmood Cemetery in Memphis, or in Corinth Mississippi. Although when I visited Shiloh last year, I learned that lots of soldiers were buried at the battlefield in mass graves with no markers. Might depend on when he died, literally. My ancestor was shot at Shiloh, but didn't die til 11 days later at the hospital in Memphis. He is buried at Elmwood. Some were sent to Corinth. Good luck with your search!
